chapter ??
Eyes shifted in and out of focus. I was to weak to hold my head up. I could see someone. It was the figure of a man.....
*Benji's POV*
I searched the drawers. 'where did those pants go?' I was trying to find my favorite pair of plaid pajama pants. Bunny used to wear them all the time.....She was wearing them the day she left.... I walked away from the dresser. I wanted to sit down on the bed before i broke out in tears. My foot hit something under the bed. It was the photo album that Jessica had given me on me and Bunny's aniversary. I picked it up and opened it. There was a picture of us on our first christmas. It had been about two months since she had been gone. My ring was slipping from my finger. I had only a little hope of her coming back. I still wasn't eating or sleeping like I used to. I set the book back under the bed and walked out into the hallway. When i got to the kitchen I could hear Joel blasting music from downstairs in his room. We hadn't really talked at all since his little outburst in the kitchen. I tried to focus my ears on the song that was playing. Thats when i heard it...
"But I know the ending of this story. Your never coming back. Never!" My ring slid of my figner and fell to the kitchen floor with a ping.
*Erin's POV*
I had only been home for about three weeks. When they had told me what happened I was absolutly shocked. The tention in the house was thick. We all seemed as if we where lost and none of us could figure out what to do. I was sitting in the living room one day when I suddenly remebered that Bunny kept a diary. I thought maybe if i could find it that it might give us some clue as to where she was or why she left. I didn't think that it would matter if I read it...she's would never know...right?
I walked up the stairs into Benji's room. He was asleep on the bed. It was nice to see him finally sleeping... I looked in the dresser drawers. Under some socks was were I found it. She was never good at hiding things... Then I noticed Benji's wedding ring sitting on top of the dresser. Had he given up hope....?
*Joel's POV*
I came into the living room Erin was sitting on the couch. I ran over and sat down next to here.
"Hey Babe! Whatcha readin'?" She looked at me. We had been dating since shortly after the weddings. I tried to kiss her cheek but she moved away. I think she was mad at me for not being there for my brother plus i called one of her really close friends a whore...
"I'm reading Bunny's diairy to figure out why she left." I couldn't believe it. I had given up on Bunny. I hated her and I could care less if she ever came back. I grabbed my keys and walked out the house. I got in my car. I stopped for a minute and tried to decide on where i was gunna go. my "attitude" had gotten me into alot of trouble with alot of my friends. I just decided to drive around.
I had stopped at a red light. I looked over to my left and watched some people walk out of a restaurant when i noticed in my mirror that a truck was pulling up behind me...But it wasn't stopping it was getting closer and closer....it was to close for me to move forward.....My head smacked the steering wheel.
Chapter ?? *Billy's POV*
I just got home from the bank and decided to get the mail on my way in. I opened the mailbox and there was only one letter in there. It was addressed to Benji but there was no return address. At first i thought it might be from some tennie bopper but there was something that bothered me about it. I walked inside. Jessica was walking down the stairs. Erin was engrossed in some book.
"Where's Benji?" I asked Jessica.
"I think he's sleeping."
"Oh well he got a letter but if he's sleeping then I don't want to wake him."
"Yeah i know he was really tired."
I set the letter down on the coffee table. I looked at it. It bothered me to much. I had to open it. I p[ick it up and started riping it open with my keys.
"What are you doing Billy? Isn't that Benji's?" Jessica asked. I kept tearing. I read the letter and bounded upstairs. Jessica ran after me.
